Pathways is an approved provider on Crown Commercial Services DPS RM6219 Training and Learning and an approved Training Organisation for the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training. We have been successfully delivering training for over 40 years.
All the training that Pathways creates is coproduced, co-delivered, and mapped against the two capabilities frameworks for Learning Disability and Autism.
Mandatory Training on Learning Disabilities and Autism
From 1 July 2022, health and social care providers registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) must ensure that their staff receive training on learning disabilities and autism appropriate to their role.

Pathways Associates CIC are proud to be an approved training provider for the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training national programme. Our trainers are all officially approved by the programme also.

We are an approved organisation with trainers who have completed their training and are approved to deliver:
Tier 1:
- Train the workforce (one-hour live webinar)
- Train the Trios – Delivering Webinars (Part 1)
- Train the Trios – Teaching Others (Part 2)
Tier 2:
- Train the workforce (One Day in person delivery)
- Train the Trainers – Facilitating Trainers, Co-Trainers with lived experience of Learning Disability and Autism.
Peer Review:
Peer Reviewing delivery at Tier 1 and Tier 2 will become part of the reaccreditation process for approved trainers. Our team are able to offer this support also.
