This workshop explores disability and human rights using everyday examples. It will enable participants effectively facilitate inclusion of disabled people in their communities and assist in developing and sustaining friendships and rewlationships

Vicki supports our Confirm and Challenge groups, facilitating co-production between disabled people, families and public sector colleagues to transform care for people with learning disabilities, autism or both in the North West

She leads our Equality and Mental Capacity Act training courses. She also facilitates the co-production of our Experts by Experience, Speak Up and Training the Trainers programmes to enable self advocates to lead in our work with partners.

Vicki is passionate about independent advocacy, equality and human rights. As an experienced statutory and community advocate she continues to support disabled adults and children to have their voice heard across a range of issues affecting their lives.

Vicki supports us to gather and share the views and experiences of disabled people and their families to influence policy through our research and evaluation work.

She has a BSc in Psychology and an MA in Disability Studies.
